The ‘Digital India Experience Zone’ at the upcoming G20 Leaders Summit in New Delhi will be a standout attraction showcasing India’s ‘digital’ journey since 2014. The transformative potential of digital public infrastructure, or DPI, is highlighted through a platform developed over seven years. a country that empowers digital economy – Aadhaar, UPI, DigiLocker, DIKSHA, Bhashini, ONDC and eSanjeevani.

In addition to providing visitors with immersive experiences such as interactive displays and virtual reality simulations, the unique zone features a kiosk showcasing the GITA (Guidance Inspiration Transformation and Action) app where visitors can seek answers to life-related questions. and principles consistent with the Bhagavad Gita.

“Seven DPI components will be showcased in the ‘Experience Zone’ along India’s digital travel wall with a cycle in front. Visitors can ride it to see a visual representation of the digital journey and as long as they paddle, the video will advance,” the official said.

The official added, “Similarly, if they visit the Bhashini stand, they can use the technology to translate any language. While the Bhashini platform supports Indian languages, for the purpose of the G20, it has also been linked to an international language. Visitors can chat with the platform to search for tourism or information related to the G20 or any other topic.

Visitors can explore the major milestones of ‘Digital India’ through simulated virtual reality, effectively bringing to life the advances made in the digital space in recent years. This zone provides an insight into the core principles of DPI and the evolution of ‘Digital India’ initiatives.

One of the main highlights is an interactive demonstration of ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce) collaboration with vendors, customers and network providers on a large scale. This exhibition is expected to illustrate ONDC’s potential to transform India’s digital commerce landscape and drive economic growth.

The GITA application allows visitors to search for answers to questions according to the Bhagavad Gita. The “Ask GITA” feature of the app is equipped with advanced GPT-4 language model technology that answers questions by providing insights into the holy book in English and Hindi.

“If a visitor asks a question to this AI model, GITA will answer according to the principles of the Bhagavad Gita and what the holy book thinks about the question asked with quotes,” the official said.

Officials further said that the ‘Digital India Experience Zone’ has been carefully designed to resonate with its target audience and highlight India’s commitment to promoting digital inclusion and innovation in its development agenda.
